Expiring Assessments

When a Current assessment is expired, another Current assessment can be specified to replace (supersede) it.

  1. From the SmartSolve Portal Page, click the Home tab > Setup and Policy > Setup.
  2. In the Training Management section, click Assessment.
Result: The Assessments list window is displayed.
  3. Check the checkbox of the assessment to be expired.
  4. Click Action > Expire.
  5. Zoom to select the new assessment to be used in place of the expired assessment.
  6. Click the Save button.
Result: The assessment has been expired and is in Expired status.

NOTE: Do not expire an assessment that may be attached to courses or documents without first either removing it from the requirement, or identifying a new Current assessment to supersede the expired assessment. Failure to do this will result in your end-users not being able to complete the assessment because it is no longer valid.
